The List of Documents for Getting a Chinese Work Permit
1. Your updated CV or resume (with detailed time lines/duration for EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE; E.g. June 2018–May 2019, English teacher at OCT Primary School. What month in what year has to be clarified)
2. Standard scanned copies of your current passport pages (full double sided pages; in JPG format; around 300 KB each; the front page with your picture)
3. A digital version of your identification photo, clear enough, with a white background, in JPG format and around 100KB
4. Scanned copies of your Apostilled degree(s) (Bachelor or above; in JPG format; around 300 KB each;)
5. Scanned copies of your Apostilled TEFL or TESOL certificate(s) (120-hour training at least; in JPG format; around 300 KB each;)
6. Scanned copies of your Apostilled non-criminal records / background check (in JPG format; around 300 KB each;) Please note that your non-criminal record is only valid for 6 months.
7. Scanned copies of the medical report. If you do not have one, you need to provide that when you are in China.
8. Scanned copy of the cancellation sheet of your previous work permit from the Foreign Experts Bureau if you worked in China before.
9. Scanned copy of the release letter from your previous employer if you worked in China before.
10. A specific contact address in your own country, including apartment number, road, city, state or province, zip code (for filling out some application forms)
11. Telephone number at the contact address in your own country (for filling out some application forms)
12. Place of birth (①City; ②Province or State ; ③Country)
